Who are we?
Our owner-managed family company is characterized by its stability and experience in the 3rd generation. The succession is secured by the two daughters of the managing director Harald Becker. Both are already part of the management team and will continue to develop the established company.
Nationwide but primarily focuses in the areas of Southern Germany and the New Federal States of Germany the name Becker stays for perfect scaffolding technology on schedule as well as for the entire spectrum of working platforms and telehandler nationwide.
In Baden, Paul Becker GmbH is also a qualified service provider as a certified waste specialist.
The sophisticated transport logistic supports the meticulously planned just-in-time-delivery of all required materials and equipment.
Our History
In 1926 Heinrich Becker as a skilled specialist founded a paintersbusiness which he managed until 1957.
His son, Paul Becker, took over the business at the age of 25 and initially carried on with the two existing employees. His entrepreneurial spirit caused to step in scaffolding in 1962.
At that time it certainly was not foreseeable that today it would be one of the largest scaffolding companies with more than one million m³ facade scaffolding and an enormous capacity of piling- and industrial-scaffolding. Another factor of success was added with the increase of the perfect transport logistics including the sectors container-service and disposal at the end of the seventies. At this time the department of renting working platforms also was taken over and – some years later - also the rental of telehandlers.
This development since end of the seventies and beginning the eighties already took place with the participatio of today's shareholder and managing director Harald Becker.
After the death of his father end of 2001 he is now leading the company in the third generation.
Since 2014, the fourth generation has already been involved in the management. Together with their father Harald Becker, Sabrina Binz and Vanessa Binz are managing the family company for securing the future and continuing that family tradition.
Truck mounted platforms
Nationwide you can rent more than 90 truck mounted platforms at our company. Up to a working height of 35 m these can be picked up by yourself if you are owner of a driving license class B / C1. You will be thoroughly instructed by our trained staff in the equipment. Truck mounted platforms enable a quick change of the location. On request, we can also provide you with truck mounted platforms for driving yourself to a desired location.
Also for larger projects, Paul Becker GmbH offers large truck mounted platforms up to a max. working height of 72 m. With these large devices, you always have a high-quality operator at your side so that you can handle your work safely. Our large units have a load bearing capacity of up to 600 kg, in which the working basket can be extended to a width of 3.82 m. This makes it easy to transport several people, tools and other work material to the location of installation.
The lateral reach of up to 39 m includes high flexibility. Furthermore, our large units have a telescoping and movable aluminium basket. Whether you need to install glass panes, signs or advertising systems, you can easily lift such heavy and bulky parts to the desired position based on the "material transport device" integrated on the basket. This special construction makes it possible to pick up loads directly from the ground.
